What you need
Ten anonymized questions you have permission to use, dated and approved policies or FAQs, and expected answers approved by the service owner. Include a question the sources cannot answer and an ambiguous case. Use a test copy without sending messages or changing customer records; check access permissions and each tool’s data-handling terms. A small sample and another model’s judgment cannot establish reliability in real customer traffic.
Getting started
- Give each question and document a reference. Have the owner approve the expected answer or human handoff before testing.
- Run the questions through the assistant in a test environment. Save its exact replies and the known model, prompt and source versions.
- Request a referenced comparison, then have the owner check every flagged issue. Retain problem cases to rerun the same test after a correction.
